Role & scope
Backend developer responsible for maintenance, API development and production troubleshooting.
Technical approach
MySQL query and database optimization, with Redis and PHPRedis caching on frequently accessed endpoints, including SSO-related functionality.
Key decisions
Applied caching selectively to frequently used endpoints alongside database and query optimization.

Laravel REST API with two-way integration, organized into Controller, Service, Repository and Model layers.
Key decisions
Separated API handling, business logic and data access into layers; applied Redis caching to selected high-frequency endpoints.

Approximately 60–70 production REST endpoints, with integration support across several institutions.

REST API for a mobile app, with Xendit payments and Firebase push notifications. I worked on the backend and maintained the web app.

Role & scope
Backend developer: built the REST API, then continued feature development and maintenance. Work on the web application was maintenance only.
Technical approach
PHP and CodeIgniter APIs integrating Xendit for e-wallet and bank transfers, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications.

Invoices, webhook callbacks and payment status handling, with scheduled handling for failed and pending payments.

Led a two-developer team to deliver a vendor management system in about three to four months, introducing automated testing.

Technical approach
Laravel application with technical direction and architecture decisions, task distribution, technical review and deployment support.
Key decisions
Introduced PHPUnit and Pest into the development workflow. This was the first project where automated testing became part of that workflow.

A production vendor management system, with hands-on technical ownership through delivery.

Built the web application on my own in 2024, then rebuilt its API on Laravel 13 and PHP 8.5 in 2026.
